Introduction to inner cage plug valve
Teflon bushing protection
DANYUThe bushing plug valve can be equipped with an inner cage plug to protect the bushing during high pressure drop and throttling.
Typical application
Waste sludge, calcium carbonate slurry, alum, brine, green liquor, untreated river water, lime mud slurry, zinc-containing powder sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid slurry, soda ash, and others.
The metal cage is sleeved in the cock, and it is fixed with a pin welded on the bottom of the valve body. The bearing on the cage provides a gap between the cock and the cage, so that the cock can rotate freely.
Metal-to-metal throttling
Inner-cage plug valve, metal-to-metal seal when throttling, and metal-to-bush seal when cut off. When throttling, the inner cage blocks the bushing and protects the bushing from fluid erosion.
High-speed fluid
The inner cage can reduce the turbulence of high-speed fluid and damage to the bushing, so that the fluid flows smoothly through the valve.
Caliber: 1"-8"
Material: Carbon steel valve body with CD4MCuN cock and cage. Stainless steel valve body is equipped with CD4MCuN cock and cage. (If you need to use other materials, please consult DANYU sales engineer.)
